Math Fun is a program for preschool children and their families.

Developed by early childhood math specialists and the Center for Hands-On Learning, Math Fun is two bins full of activities that help parents work with young children in developing the skills that will lead to success in mathematics (and reading, and thinking, and . . .).

As with all Center kits, everything you need is contained in the kit. Just add families and have fun!

Want to start talking with parents about math?
The Center's Family Math kit allows session leaders to focus on interacting with participants rather than gathering and preparing materials. Task cards are included as are all the materials you need to hold your own Family Math sessions.

Calculators, scissors, crayons, and pencils (already sharpened!) are provided as tools for participants as they move around among activities from many areas of mathematics.
In addition to a copy of the Family Math book, the kit also includes a leader's guide that assists in using the kit.

A book designed just for middle school after-school programs! Full of great activities that allow students to have fun while using math--honest, they're really fun!!

The supporting kit is available in two sizes--one with enough materials for 10 students and one with enough for 30 students. If you want to get your own PVC pipe, vinyl tubing, string, game markers, polystyrene lids, tissue paper, and a whole lot more!
